My name is Rob Willmoth. I have been playing chess for the last 36 years. I am a British Master, currently ranked in the top 1% in the country.
Chess – The Game of Kings – is the game that can offer many advantages over and above simply learning the moves. Chess is well known to enhance academic results, strategic thinking, problem solving, healthy competition and self-esteem if taught in a structured manner.
Each student is assessed for their chess knowledge and for their strengths and weaknesses. A training plan is tailored based on their ability. Regular assessment tracks student performance against their training plan and written feedback is provided to parents for younger students.
I reside in Mill Hill in Barnet, North London with my wife and my two wonderful children, aged 7 and 11.
